Creating a folder in the file or image manager

  1. While in the image or file manager click "Create Folder" in the top right corner. (To get the the image or file manager refer to "Inserting an Image" or "Insert to a link to a file." )

Deleting a File

  1. Select some text in the description editor to enable the chain link icon. 
  2. Click the chain link icon under the font size drop down.
  3. Click the browse icon beside the url field. This brings up the file manager. 
  4. Check the items in the list you would like to delete. 
  5. Click "Delete"
  6. Click "Yes" in the confirmation dialog.  

 

Delete a photo

  1. Click the green tree icon under font size.
  2. Click the browse icon beside the url field. This brings up the image manager.
  3. Click the small up arrow in the bottom right corner of the image you would like to delete.
  4. Click "Delete" in the menu. 
  5. Click "Yes" in the confirmation dialog. 

Adding a photo to a gallery.

  1. Click "Manage Photo Gallery" on the home page of the customer portal.
  2. Click "Edit / Add Photos" on the gallery with the photo you would like to edit.
  3. Click "Add New" in the top right.
  4. Ciick "Choose File" and choose the file you would like to upload.
  5. Optional: Type a title in the title field.
  6. Optional: Type a caption in the caption field.
  7. Click "Save/Modify" or "Save and Add Another" to add another photo. 

Text Wrapping

  1. Assuming an image has already been inserted, click on the image you would like to wrap text.
  2. Click the green tree icon under font size. 
  3. In the popup window click the appearance tab.
  4. Using the Alignment drop-down, choose the alignment. A preview will be shown to the right. (most common are left or right)
  5. OPTIONAL: Add vertical and horizontal space to allow some space around the image. ex: 5
  6. Click "Update"

Adding a photo gallery.

  1. On the home page of the portal. Click "Manage Photo Gallery".
  2. In the top right of the galleries page click "Add New".
  3. Type a title in the "Gallery Title" field.
  4. Optional: Type a description in the "Gallery Description" field.
  5. Click "Save/Modify"

Setting a users content permissions.

  1. On the left side of the portal in the Account section, click "Content Permissions".
  2. Listed across the top you will see a column for each user. You may go down the column and select each page you would like to give access that user.
  3. Click "Save Permissions" 

Adding user accounts.

  1. On the left side of the portal in the Account section, click "User Manager".
  2. On the user manager page click "Add New".
  3. Fill in the users information. (At least Username, Password, First Name, Last Name, Email and Phone)
  4. If you would like this user to have access to all content you may check the "Administrator" box, otherwise you may set the permissions for a user in the "Content Permissions" section after the user has been added. 
  5. Check the "Notify via email" box if you would like an automatic email sent to the new user with their login information. 
  6. Click "Insert"

Embedding a Vimeo video

  1. Click the "Insert / edit embeded media" icon. 
  2. In the popup choose "Iframe" as the type.
  3. In the "File/URL" field type or paste the embed URL of the Vimeo video EX: http://player.vimeo.com/video/16627226

    To get the embed URL:
    http://vimeo.com/16627226 <-- copy this number
    http://player.vimeo.com/video/ <-- and paste it here
     
  4. Click "Insert"

Embedding a YouTube video

  1. Click the "Insert / edit embeded media" icon. 
  2. In the popup choose "Iframe" as the type.
  3. Paste the URL of the YouTube video in the "File/URL" field. EX: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDoygplHN_4
  4. Click "Insert"

Resizing an Image

  1. Click the green tree icon under font size.
  2. Click the browse icon beside the url field. This brings up the image manager.
  3. Click the small up arrow in the bottom right corner of the image you would like to resize.
  4. Click "Basic Edit"
  5. In the ImageManager Editor click "Resize"
  6. In the width box type the width you would lik to use. If "Constrain proportions" is checked the height will automatically be calculated. 
  7. Click "Apply"
  8. Click "Save"
  9. In the save as box if you leave the filename the same it will overwrite the existing image. If you want to save the resized image as a copy just type a new filename. 
  10. Click "Save"
  11. The resized image will now show up in the image manager. 

Insert a link

  1. Select the text you would like to link.
  2. Click the "chain link" icon under font size.
  3. This will popup the insert/edit link window. In the "Link URL" type or paste the URL of the link (ex: http://google.com) .
  4. Click "Insert" on the insert/edit popup. Your text is now linked.

Insert to a link to a file.

  1. Select the text you would like to link.
  2. Click the "chain link" icon under font size.
  3. This will popup the insert/edit link window. To the right of the "Link URL" field you will see the Browse icon. Click this.
  4. You are now in our file manager. Here you can create folders and upload new files or choose from an existing file.
  5. Upload or check an existing file.
  6. Click "Insert" on the bottom left. This will close the file manager
  7. Click "Insert" on the insert/edit popup. Your text is now linked to a the file.

Insert/upload an image.

  1. Click the green tree icon under font size.
  2. Click the browse icon beside the url field. This brings up the image manager.
  3. Click the small up arrow in the bottom right corner of the image you would like to use.
  4. Click insert in the menu from the arrow.
  5. Click insert on the "insert/edit image" popup.

Adding a title and caption to a photo.

  1. Click "Manage Photo Gallery" on the home page of the customer portal.
  2. Click "Edit / Add Photos" on the gallery with the photo you would like to edit.
  3. Click "Edit Photo Info" on the photo you would like to edit.
  4. Type a title in the title field.
  5. Type a caption in the caption field.

Add a related product

  1. While editing a product, click on the "Related Products" tab on the left.
  2. Click "Reset Filter" in the top right.
  3. Use the search filters (ex: Name) to find the product you would like to add as a related product.
  4. Once the product is found, check the checkbox for that product. 
  5. Save the product.

Add a cross-sell

  1. While editing a product, click on the "Cross-sells" tab on the left.
  2. Click "Reset Filter" in the top right.
  3. Use the search filters (ex: Name) to find the product you would like to add as a cross-sell.
  4. Once the product is found, check the checkbox for that product. 
  5. Save the product.

Add an up-sell

  1. While editing a product, click on the "Up-sells" tab on the left.
  2. Click "Reset Filter" in the top right.
  3. Use the search filters (ex: Name) to find the product you would like to add as an up-sell.

  5. Save the product.
