Next Wave Services has been providing Internet-based solutions to small and medium sized businesses for over 13 years. We provide everything from small brochure websites to full ecommerce solutions and have built innovative feature-rich applications for clients from coast to coast.
With our recent growth we are seeking to add an additional Web Developer to helps us take our development efforts to the next level. This is a part time position and work can be done at any location.
The ideal applicant will have 1-2 years experience web development and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Development, maintain and enhance client websites and applications.
Understanding browser specific compatibility as well as creating table-less CSS layouts.
Researching emerging technologies and implementing them into future websites.
Requirements
At least 1-2 years experience in web development.
Knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, PHP, Sql, MySql databases, XML.
Ability to hand code HTML
Knowledge of email marketing and SEO.
Ecommerce experience a plus.
Knowledge slicing designs in Photoshop a plus.
Knowledge of MVC frameworks a plus including Zend, and CodeIgniter
